Responsibility:
EPG are a German headquartered software company with a software execution suite that is highly regarded by independent software experts, with over 1,500 customers and over 350,000 daily users across the globe. While we have been in the UK for over 5 years, we have opened a new HQ in Derby, UK as part of our growth plans for the country. Now we are looking for someone to support our prospects and customers as we deliver both POC and full projects of both voice driven and warehouse execution into the logistics, retail and manufacturing sectors. While we already have a foundation of UK clients, we are looking for someone to join our team and help to build a strong UK business, expanding the team and opening new offices as we grow. We have exciting growth plans and are looking for people with the right attitude and experience to join our team.
- Support our UK customers as a single point of contact for project management.
- Assisting with the design and configuration of our suite of voice and SES software (full application training provided).
- Configure hardware and software for pre-sale (POC) and for live projects.
- Provide guidance to our customers throughout the project and give technical support regarding LYDIA voice solutions.
- Support the sales team and our partners, with technical advice and support.
- Support our marketing activities and participate in industry conferences as well as in trade shows.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in information technology, logistics or in a related subject. Technical experience in a similar role would also be equivalent.
- Gained relevant work experience in warehouse specific IT products and solutions, experience working with hand held terminals in warehouse environments a plus but not essential.
- Have a good understanding of the logistics industry and common applications in use.
- Experience using XML, SQL and understanding of basic computer application support.
- Show strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Fluent in English; knowledge in further languages (e.g. German) is a plus.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport. Also based no more than 3 hours from Derby.
